Biofeedback

The Living Information Forms Energy (L.I.F.E.) System is an advanced electro-physiological biofeedback device, designed to aid in the reduction of stress and promotes muscle relaxation. It uses light and sound (musical tones). During a biofeedback session, the device records subtle, “reactive” informational potentials provided by the client during the initial assessment procedure. The computer evaluates such responses, then challenges the body with that information by feeding it back to the client. This process assists the body’s own relaxation and stress management mechanisms by encouraging a sense of wellness, balance and harmony.

L.I.F.E. System has been CE certified and registered throughout the European Union as a Class 2A medical instrument. In addition, the L.I.F.E. System has been FDA-registered in the USA, Australia, and South Africa. Rigorous testing, double-blind studies and subsequent approval by TUV Germany is a guarantee of quality and efficacy. It is the only device of its and that has achieved the German TUV certification of assurance. It is used by thousands of trained and qualified practitioners. Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Dentists, Homeopaths, Nutritionists, Veterinarians, and Psychotherapists are using the L.I.F.E. System to assist in achieving stress management, relaxation, and preventative healthcare, while supporting the well-being of their clients. 

Information obtained in the L.I.F.E. System session is not represented as a medical claim, diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, and prevention of disease or any other medical condition.

• Children,  adults, and pets. Children often cannot express what is bothering  them. This is even moreso with pets.  The L.I.F.E. System assesses and  gives a "voice" to stressors so that they may be neutralized.
• The  device is not intended for use on clients with pacemakers or other  electrical devices. It is not recommended for direct application for  women who are pregnant. Such clients may receive biofeedback through  another modality of the system detached from the body.

INSURANCE MATTERS

Please  check with your individual health insurance administrator to determine if biofeedback is covered under your plan. In the case of car accidents  and biofeedback support, car insurance often will cover up to 100% for  spinal injuries, traumatic brain injury, and is effective for hastening  healing following traumatic injury. In such an instance, insurance will  often not pay a healthcare provider until the case is closed. Clients  will need to pay out of pocket and I will be happy to prepare a receipt of payment at that time so that you may submit it for reimbursement.

QUESTION:  I don't need therapy. Can I come for just biofeedback or neurofeedback?

ANSWER:  There is freedom to custom-craft your services according to your comfort and choice relating to level of participation in my services. We discuss the type of relationship we want and abide by that agreement.

4. Neurofeedback particularly targeted for the TMJ Disorder support.
